Driven by a passion to support our local community and uplift small businesses, Tamara Turkai opened Big Frog of Albuquerque to bring creativity, connection, and custom apparel to the heart of New Mexico.

Tamara is a dynamic leader with a rich background in Lean-Agile methodologies. She’s a certified coach, SAFe trainer, and author—passionate about building strong teams and stronger communities. She holds degrees from Occidental College in Los Angeles and Villanova University in Pennsylvania. Her unique blend of corporate expertise and entrepreneurial spirit makes her perfectly suited to lead Big Frog ABQ.

When she was worried the color of shirt I ordered would not arrive in time, she called me and had me come into the store to pick a new (and better) color and she printed it right there for me.
