Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More of St. Pete Wins Merit Award for Outstanding Florida Main Street Business of the Year

Locally owned and operated Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More of St. Pete is recognized as Outstanding Florida Main Street Business of the Year by the Florida Secretary of State. Big Frog of St. Pete earned the prestigious award for its commitment to serve its local community and help to promote the “shop local movement” to support other small businesses in St. Petersburg’s vibrant EDGE District.

“We are both humbled and proud to be recognized with such an honor. As a local business, we know that we could never succeed without the support of our local community. In return, we have always been deeply committed to give back by donating to local causes through t-shirt fundraisers and supporting other small businesses like us,” says Big Frog of St. Pete owner Sean Mulligan.

Mulligan, along with wife, Danette, opened Big Frog in 2017 in the historic EDGE District, known for its eclectic street art and vibrant local businesses. “St. Pete has always been known to cultivate its residents’ artistic spirit, so we have local artists and highly creative entrepreneurs we support by providing their custom apparel needs,” Mulligan says.

Aside from donating hundreds of t-shirts and custom accessories, Mulligan has also generously donated his time to serve on the EDGE Business District Association Board and committees, volunteers at all EDGE events, sponsors the EDGE District Cleanup Crew, and is a strong ambassador for “Main Street America” out in the community.

“It has become more important for local businesses to be able to lean on each other, especially in times of crisis,” Mulligan says. “We are happy to support our local business community in the EDGE District and throughout St. Pete  with our custom garment decorating services and customer service that puts customers first.”
